ProFind is a trading name of Milan Technologies (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/717515/07, with its registered office in Meyerton, Gauteng, South Africa.
1. About ProFind
ProFind is a South African technology marketplace that helps consumers discover, compare, contact, enquire with and, where available, book or request services from independent businesses and service providers. ProFind also provides paid digital business-profile and software features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid business subscription or make a payment through ProFind. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
3. Independent providers
Unless ProFind expressly states otherwise for a specific ProFind-supplied service, the underlying service advertised by a listed business is supplied by that independent business, not by ProFind. The provider remains responsible for quotations, workmanship, licences, fulfilment and customer obligations.
4. Business accounts
Businesses must provide accurate information, keep profiles current, hold required licences or registrations and must not make false or misleading claims.
5. Plans and recurring billing
ProFind currently offers Free, Standard and Pro business plans. Standard is R115 per month and Pro is R575 per month unless a different price is clearly displayed and accepted before purchase. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled.
6. Payments
Where Paystack is enabled, payments are processed by Paystack South Africa (Pty) Ltd. ProFind does not store full card details. A payment is requested only for a legitimate ProFind transaction that is clearly described before authorisation.
ProFind is not a bank, lender, remittance provider, cryptocurrency service, stored-value wallet or general payment processor. Payment functionality may not be used to route unrelated third-party funds or for prohibited or restricted activities.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription before the next renewal. Paid features ordinarily remain active until the end of the paid period. Refunds and eligible reversals are governed by the Refund Policy and applicable South African law.
8. Protected platform payments
Where FeeShield or another protected payment feature is available, the amount and capture, release or cancellation conditions are shown before the customer authorises the payment. An authorisation is not the same as a completed charge.
9. Fulfilment
ProFind subscriptions and account features are delivered electronically. Services requested from independent businesses are fulfilled by those businesses according to the quotation, booking or call-out terms agreed with the customer.
10. Prohibited use
You may not use ProFind or ProFind payment functionality for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive activity, or for products, services or transactions prohibited by law, card-network rules or the payment processor's applicable acceptable-use rules. ProFind may restrict payment functionality or accounts where reasonably necessary for compliance.
11. Emergency Response
ProFind Emergency connects users with local businesses for urgent commercial services. It is not a police, ambulance, fire or rescue service.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disputes
Questions about a ProFind charge, subscription or refund should be raised with ProFind. Disputes about the quality or scope of an independent provider's underlying service should first be raised with that provider.
14. Liability and law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
